Although Labor Prep classes are helpful many partners find themselves in a bit of a deer in the headlights situation when the big day finally arrives! The extremely taxing work of comforting a laboring mother may also become somewhat overwhelming!

Labor of Love Consulting offers Birth Coaching to solve this problem! ​
​
Research shows that laboring women who are continuously supported by an expert who knows the ins and outs of labor and birth positioning and comfort measurers have significantly reduced rates of Cesarian Section.
​
Although I am not a certified Doula I offer to you 20 years experience at the bedside as a Labor and Delivery RN skilled in recognizing dysfunctional labor patterns, understanding medical problems that may be occurring with mother or baby, and offing advice, comfort techniques, and labor positions that will help you best accomplish your delivery goals!

Additional Items included in this service:

Assistance with your first latch at the breast and preliminary breastfeeding education.

Follow up phone call on your first day post partum to discuss any hospital care questions or concerns.
Birth Coaching is offered only in hospital or home settings where your care is being managed by a licensed Midwife or Physician.​

Birth Coaching Fee: $500.00 per day.
Day fees start with mobilization from the home office and end with return to the home office.
Standard milage rates will apply for locations that are > 30 mile radius from Buffalo Wyoming. Hotel fees may apply.

Yes! Yes they are! Here are some reasons why....

I have been in many labor rooms throughout my career where the birth was so beautiful but the mother was working so hard that she was unable to recall most of what happened.

I have seen nurses be assigned to the job of photographer only to get called away to do something else and not get it done and worst of all...

I have seen sad situations where the father of the baby, the closest of friends, and birth partners, have been assigned this duty and have missed out on living in the moment and participating in the birth so that they can do this very important job!
Birth Photography and Videography done by an expert are the perfect solution!
What is offered?

Attendance at your delivery vaginal or cesarian section. and photography and/or videography of your delivery.

Photography and videography of your immediate postpartum moments for 1 hour.

Photography/videography: You keep all photos and video content and have rights to all photography/videography recorded.
Photography Cost: $500.00 per day.
